She attended Wilson Grade School
She was presser at Model Paris in Normal, IL
She was very proud of being crowned Miss Streator in 1936 for the 4th of July celebration. She won a trip to Hollywood.
Because of her love of children, Memorials may be made to The Streator Child Development Center, Woodland Education Foundation or to the Red Stocking Fund.
