Ida Mae Rogers, 85 of Streator passed away Tuesday (Jan. 4th) at Heritage Manor.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the Erven Avenue Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will granddaughters, Angela Smith, Rachelle, Christine, Rebecca, and Alexis Rogers and Lacinda McDonald. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Art Elliott, James R., Joseph, and Rodney McDonald, Dan and Brandon Rogers, Kevin Smith, and Christopher Hays.
Ida Mae was born on April 13, 1925 in Anna, IL.
She married Robert C. Rogers on December 27, 1948. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, Robert Copeland of Bhutan City, Philippines, Daniel (Nina) Rogers and Charles Rogers, both of Streator, daughters, Roberta (James) McDonald, and Donna (Fred) Barhum, both of Streator, 16 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 1 foster grandson, 32, great-grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson, Benjamin Rogers, brother, Homer Duvall, and niece, Nancy Bric.
Ida was formerly employed at Cargill Seed in Grand Ridge and Motorola/Quasar in Pontiac.
She was a member of the Erven Avenue Baptist Church and Streator VFW Auxiliary. She was an avid card player, enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing bingo.
