James “Butch” J. Hudron Jr., 81 of Streator passed away Monday (May 30, 2022) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Visitation will be held Thursday (June 2nd) from 10 – 11 AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be nephews, Steve, Don and Josh Krasnican, Brett Freeman and family friends Mike Overocker and Travis Brue.
Butch was born on April 23, 1941, in Kanlgey to James J. and Margaret (Holden) Hudron Sr. He married Olita Higdon in April of 1965. She preceded him in death on Augsut2, 2021.
Surviving is a stepson Jerry (Ruth) Ward of Streator and daughter in law Kay Ward of Streator, sister, Karen Reneer of Streator, niece and nephews, Andrew John “Sam” Krasnican, Brenda Krasnican, Steve “Chuck Wagon” Krasnican and Donald “Twig” Krasnican all of Streator and several step grandchildren.
He is preceded in deathby his parents, wife Olita, brother Arthur and stepchildren, Hershel and Ron Ward and Carolyn Worley.
Butch attended the Kangley Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1960. He retired after 55 years from Local 150 Operating Engineers Joliet District.
Butch enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing bingo. He was a member of Lazy Acres Sportsman Club, Streator Eagles and Streator Moose Lodge.
Memorials may be made in his to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of the donors choice.
