Jamie Marie Shepard

Jamie Marie Shepard, 52 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (November 10^th) at her home.

A visitation will be held Monday (November 16^th) from 4 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held Monday at 6 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.

Jamie was born on September 7, 1963 in Streator to George and Patricia (Carbone) Easi.  She married Gary “Duke” Shepard on November 22, 1991. He passed away on January 5, 2014.

Surviving are daughter, Alexia (Seth Moore) Shepard of Valley City, ND, step-daughter, Virginia Melton of Valier, IL, 1 grandson, Dakota  and 4 step-grandchildren, parents, George and Pat Easi of Streator, brother, Vincent (Lisa) Easi of Somonauk, sisters, Kellee (Joseph) Spraggon of Streator, Lainee (Matthew) Scarbrough of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, step-son Gary Shepard Jr, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Shepard and grandsons, Jake and Jordan Shepard.

Jamie attended Streator Grade School and Streator High School and IVCC in welding and fork lift operators.  She enjoyed crocheting, antique collecting, crafting, riding horses and just being outdoors.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
