Janice K. Christopher, 77 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (May 10th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:30AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Streator.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Cabery, IL.
Janice was born on May 8, 1934 in Streator, IL to Abel and Berna (Doughty) Christopher.
Surviving is brother, Vernon (Mary Ann) Christopher of Pontiac, 2 nephews, Terry (Terri) Christopher of Seneca, and Neil (Theresa) Christopher of Pontiac, and niece, Kathy (Greg Legner) Roberts of Pontiac.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 nephews, Patrick Christopher and Randy Roberts.
Janice graduated from Cornell High School in 1952 and was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Streator where she was in the choir.
She was formerly employed at Smith Douglas and retired from the Hilton Reservation Center in Streator.
Memorials may be directed to the LaSalle County Humane Society or a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
