Jeanne Ann Sarnes

Jeanne Ann Sarnes, 76 of Streator passed away Friday (May 12, 2023) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4- 6 PM with the rosary recited at 5:45 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church.  Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Surviving as pallbearers will be Tim Negray, Brett Negray, Jacob Negray, Jeremiah Negray, Koen Schaad, Bryan Bader and Jayce Kopitt.

Jeanne was born on August 19, 1946, in Streator to John and Betty (Berg) Negray.

Surviving is daughter Tammy Sarnes of Streator, sister Jerilynn Spandet of Tampa, FL, brother Timothy (Faith) Negray of Streator, sister-in-law June Negray of Streator, several nieces and nephews and close friend Sister Alice Harcharik of Streator.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers John and Michael Negray.

Jeanne attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Woodland High School in 1964.  She was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Church.
