Jerome R. Warfield

Jerome Robert Warfield, 68 of Streator passed away Monday morning (July 1, 2024) at his home.

A visitation will be held Thursday (July 4th) from 10 a.m. until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with funeral services following at noon.

Jerry was born on May 10, 1956, in Streator to Albert and Rose Mary (Sharisky) Warfield. He married Cheryl Bockman on December 5, 1991. She survives.

Also surviving is Joshua (Shea) Warfield of Ancona, Heidi (Greg) Ryan of Colorado and Mark (Patricia) Fulkerson of Varna, grandchildren, Alivia (Jake) Jeanblanc, Fischer and Finnegan Warfield, Keegan (Christina) Ryan, Gavin Ryan, Keegan Olsen, Julian, Jayden and Brantley Fulkerson, great grandchild Bexley Jeanblanc and one due in October, his sister Mary Lou (William) Shaffer of Streator, sister-in-law Sharon Warfield, several nieces and nephews and many close and faithful friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers James and Albert Jr.

Jerry was formerly employed at Thatcher Glass and Red Wing and was affiliated with Grace Community Church.

Jerry attended St. Stephen’s Grade School, graduated from Streator High School in 1974 and attended IVCC. He enjoyed fishing, playing practical jokes, softball, bowling, playing scratch off tickets, and spending time with his grandchildren. Jerry was a member of the Lazy Acres Sportsman Club and a die-hard Chicago Cubs Fan and Chicago Bears Fan.
