Joan Crouch

Joan Crouch, 88 of Streator passed away Wednesday morning (October 6, 2021) at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Visitation will be held Monday from 9AM until 11AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Streator.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the church.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Streator.

Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joan was born on August 3, 1933, in Charleston, W. VA to Russell and Thelma (Hemmings) Hambrick.

Joan married Eugene Crouch on April 19, 1962.  He passed away on September 26, 2000.

She is survived by a grandson Gaylan Koester Crouch, stepdaughter, Jacque Hozie, step granddaughter, Julie Denney, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister, Donna Cobb of VA and sister-in-law, Juanita Hambrick of AZ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Michael and David Crouch and brother, Jerry Hambrick.

She was a member of the Streator American Legion Auxiliary, Streator VFW Auxiliary and Republic Women’s Club.

Joan attended grade school and high school in Charleston, W. VA. and worked at Owens Illinois Glass and Food Expo both in Streator.
