JoAnne "Jody" C. Wiseman, 78 of Streator passed away Monday morning (Sept. 3rd) at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Friday from 4 - 7PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher and Derek Cavanagh, Joseph Wagner, Richard and Mark Flahaut, Mark Matsko, and Tony Harlacher.
Jody was born on May 15, 1934 in Santa Monica, CA to Theodore P. and Viola (Wheeler) Goossens. She married John W. Wiseman on May 15, 1964 he passed away on December 7, 1992.
Surviving are children John Wm. Wiseman Jr. of Streator, Pamela Weathersby of Streator, Gilbert (Phyllis Ainley) Wiseman of Arkansas, Dorlena (Richard Flahaut) Wiseman of Streator, Harold Wiseman of Arkansas, Jonella (Tony) Harlacher of Streator, Tamara (Mark Matsko) Cavanagh of Streator, 18 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary Eastman of Washington, Beatrice "Bee" (Lee) Beeson of Missouri, Viola Catherine Goossens of Missouri and Charlene (Ernest) Quitiquit of Washington.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Wayne Scott Wiseman in infancy, and son-in-law, Robert Weathersby.
Jody retired from the former Thatcher Glass Co.
Memorials may be made to the Pet Project.
