John “Benny†Benstine, 65, of Streator passed away Monday (Dec. 9th) in Indianapolis, IN.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday from 2-4PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
A private burial will be held on Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
John was born on December 5, 1948 in Streator, IL to Paul and Hazel (Walker) Benstine.
Surviving are daughters Cara (David) Cowlin of Indianapolis, IN, Kelly Gallick of Champaign, IL, and 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Charlie, and Thomas Cowlin all of Indianapolis, IN.
He was preceded by his parents and sister Patricia “Patty†Hohman.
John graduated from Streator High School and attended 2 years at Southern Illinois University.
