John A. Korstick, 78 of Streator passed away Sunday morning (Dec. 29th) at his home.
Following cremation, funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
John was born on February 9, 1935 in Streator to Anthony and Ann (Kolesar) Korstick. He married Deloris Gray on November 19, 1955 she survives.
Also surviving are daughters; Julie Michael and Susan (Everett Wilkinson) Korstick both of Streator, seven grandchildren, Stacy Michael, Jessica Donovan, DeeRose Strainer, Michael Willingham, Jaimie, Janice and Anna Korstick, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters; Victoria Eisert of Ottawa, Diane Jolly of Streator and Ruth Houch of Dwight.
John is preceded in death by his parents, son; Michael Anthony Korstick.
He was formerly employed at Streator Drain Tile Co for 23yrs, Anchor Glass for 18yrs and retired from Snap on Tool in 2000. John was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice.
