Joseph E. Brooke

Joseph E. Brooke, 78 of Streator passed away Thursday (May 10^th) at Heritage Health.

Following cremation a private family service will be held with burial in Riverview Cemetery.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Joe was born on December 26, 1939 in Streator to Joseph E. and Celia (Fairbanks) Brooke.

He is survived by a son Joseph E. Brooke, brothers Thomas Brooke of Missouri and Charles Theisinger of Wyoming, sisters Betty Hannula of Wisconsin, Judith Downey of Streator, Diane Miller of Streator, Bonnie Theisinger of Streator, Sharon LaVasseur of Missouri, Susan Brooke of Missouri, Mary Copeland of Maryland and Rose Anne Brooke of Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, step mother Grace Brooke, brother James Brooke, sisters Elsie Hill and Margaret Brooke.

Joe graduated from Streator High School in 1958 and retired from Red Wing and was a life member of the North American Fishing Club.
