Joy Lynn Reeser

Joy Lynn Reeser, 58 of Streator passed away Wednesday morning (October 21, 2015) at her home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday from 11 AM until 12 Noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the funeral home.

Joy was born on June 20, 1957 in Joliet to Floyd and Mary Lou (Katanich) Lanning.  She married Harry "Doug" Reeser on June 3, 1977, he survives.

Also surviving are daughter Heather (Andy) Leek of Edwardsville and son Douglas Reeser of Brookings, SD, grandson Hayden Leek, brother Jerry (Sue) Lanning of Streator, sisters, Mary Ann (Gary) Ballock of Streator, Gladys (Edgar) Slater of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents and brothers George and Gordon Lanning.

She attended St. Anthony’s Grade School, Streator High School and IVCC.  Joy was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Church and was formerly employed at Streator Drugs.

Memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
