Junior "Earl" Johnson, 72, of Streator and formerly of Aurora passed away peacefully Saturday morning, November 30th, 2024, at home with family by his side.

Junior was born April 22, 1952, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to Earl and Bonnie (Byrd) Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Harris) Johnson. They were married on May 19, 1990, and enjoyed a long and happy life together. Junior is survived by his children. Jerad (Brittany) Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Samantha (Ryan) Johnson of Streator, Lucas (Taylor) Johnson of Montgomery, and William (Taeya) Johnson of North Aurora.

He also survived by his 12 wonderful grandchildren: Riley-Jo, Landon, Colton, Paige, Jaxson, Colby, Oaklynn, Brantley, Eli, Audrey, Jude and Eremes. As well as his sisters Grace McCloskey of Missouri, Mary Littell, Patricia Bates and his brother Carl Johnson all of Mississippi, as well as several loving niece’s nephews and friends. Junior was retired from Diamond Envelope of Aurora and Alumax in St Charles, where he was a maintenance technician for 17 years at each facility.

A celebration of life will be held at Grace Giving Joy @ 170 Adams St, Oswego, IL, 60543 on Saturday

(December 21st) at 2:00 pm.
