Karen M. Adamchak, 70 of Streator, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 6th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, (Jan.9th) at 3PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
Born, June 14, 1939 in Streator to Raymond and Eva (Sauers) Decker.
Married Andrew Adamchak on Oct. 22, 1957, he survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Julie (Richard) Lotshaw, Mary (Steve) Southey, and Kelly (Ray) Durdan, sons, Andrew Adamchak, Jr., and Joe (Traci) Adamchak all of Streator, brother, Raymond (Geralaine) Decker, Streator, 9 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Joe Strutynski, brothers, Fredrick and Donald Decker, and sisters, Maxine Hritz, and Mary Liptak.
She worked at Heritage Manor Nursing Home as a CNA, waitress at the Elks Lodge, and a cook at Gabby D's Restaurant.
Member of the Streator Eagles Auxiliary. She attended St. Mary's grade school and Streator High School. She was an avid card player.

Karen was a joyful person and she cared for her family and friends deeply. Please remember her in all your prayers.
