Kenneth M. Hamann

Kenneth M. Hamann, 75 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (Sept. 26th) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 4 – 8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews and close friends.
Ken was born on March 3, 1938 in Streator to Fred and Delores (Kettman) Hamann. He married Ellen Sphar in 1960 and they later divorced. He then married Barbara Yedinak in 1969. She survives.
Also surviving are children Kenneth (Charlene) Hamann , Michael Hamann, and Melanie Ainsley all of Streator and Larry Hamann of Massachusetts, 9 grandchildren, Brian, Jason, Ashley, Justin, Jessica, Nathan, Sarah and Jennifer and 4 great-grandchildren, brother; Ralph Hamann of Ottawa, niece; Kim Tate of Marseilles and nephew; Kevin Hamann of Ottawa.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Hamann.
He retired from Owens’ Illinois Glass in the Mold Shop and was an avid bowler, attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1956.
Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Foundation.
