Leah Mae Gass Russow

Leah Mae Gass Russow, 86 of Macon, IL formerly of Streator passed away Wed. morning (Dec. 30th) at the Eastern Star Home in Macon.

Visitation will be held Saturday at 11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with an Eastern Star Ritual at 12Noon with services following at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with pallbearers being Dennis, Todd and Jason Gass, Brian Baley, David McDaniel and Mark Huckstep.

Born on February 5, 1923 in Sorento, IL to Aaron and Elizabeth (Hinton) Price. She married Ted Gass on May 11, 1940 and he passed away in February 16, 1974, she later married Glenn Russow on November 14, 1975 he passed away December 13, 1993.

Surviving are Daughter, Juanita (John) Poi of Bativa, Son, David Gass of Johnson City, TN, Daughter, Becky (Paul) Oldham of Kansas City, MO, Son, Dennis (Sandy) Gass of Gifford, IL, 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great-grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren and 1 Sister, Ila June (Don) Niesler of Athens, IL

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Gass, sister, Fern Chestnut, 3 brothers, Wilmer, Uhl and Wade Price.

She retired from Owens' Illinois Glass and a member of the Oder of the Eastern Star and Central Church of Christ.
