Leo J. VanDeWarker Jr.

Leo J. VanDeWarker Jr. 82 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (Jan. 5th) at his home.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Leo was born on August 2, 1930 in Ottawa, IL to Leo and Marcella VanDeWarker. He married Betty Dickenson on Nov. 12, 1949 she passed away on May 26, 2001
Surviving are sons William P. VanDeWarker and David L. (Sandra) VanDeWarker both of Streator, 10 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Leo and daughter Debra Sue Horton.
Leo served in the US Army and retired from DeMoines Steel Co in Marseilles and he and his father ran a rug cleaning business called A Magic Kiss Carpet Cleaning.
