Leslie "Les" C. Defenbaugh, 62 of Manville passed away Friday evening (Nov. 23rd) at Hines Veterans Hospital, Maywood.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 - 7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7PM at the funeral home with full military honors conducted by members of the Streator American Legion and VFW.
Les was born on March 27, 1950 in Streator to Charles and Esther (Koltveit) Defenbaugh.
Surviving are sons Chad (Chandra Kennedy) Defenbaugh, Grand Ridge, Codey (Jessi Ragusa) Defenbaugh, Streator, grandson Caden, step-grandchildren, Aalyah, Mikaha, Izaiah, former wife Mary Ann Defenbaugh, Streator, sister, Kathie (Ralph) Gehrig, Wheaton, brothers, Ray (Alice), Monmouth, John (Sandy), Manville, Brian (Kathy), Manville, sister-in-law, Ann Defenbaugh, Streator and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale.
Les served in the US Marines during Vietnam from 1968 till 1969.
He enjoyed gardening and outdoors was a graduate of Woodland High School in 1968, and was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Streator VFW Post 1492.
Memorials may be directed to the Hines Veterans Hospital.
