Letha M. Hefler

Letha M. Hefler, 96 of Streator passed away Tuesday evening (Feb.9th) at St. Mary's Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:30AM at St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

She was born December 29, 1913 in Leonore to Conrad and Ida (Lock) Zimmerman. She married Virgil Hefler on May 5, 1945. He passed away December 1, 1976.

Surviving are daughters, Lila (Ken) Schablowsky of Galena, Barbara (Dennis) Bruns of Streator, son, Gary (Pauline) Hefler of Ottawa, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded by a great granddaughter, 2 brothers, Herbert and Clyde.

She attended grade school in Canada. She was formerly employed by Streator Garter Factory and retired from Owens Illinois Glass and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
