Loren J. Swift

Loren J. Swift, 72 of Streator passed away December 30, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Following cremation, a private family will be held.
Loren was born on October 3, 1949, in Streator to Merle and June (Luckey) Swift. He married Dawn Lugla on August 7, 1992. She survives.
Also surviving are children, Corina Harden, Erica Flaught, Jeremy Swift and Ben Swift, several grandchildren, a sister Sharon (Bob) Zelenak of Streator and his beloved dog Selby.
Loren is preceded in death by parents and a daughter Heather Swift.
Loren graduated from Streator High School in 1968. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam. Loren enjoyed riding his scooter with his dog Selby down the road stopping and talking with the local farmers keeping up with the current events and during the summer he would occasionally ride into town and stop and visit his local friends.
