Louise J. Lenhausen, 87 of Streator passed away peacefully Tuesday morning (Sept.27th) at her home.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30PM.
A private family burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Leonore.
Louise was born on April 14, 1929 in Streator to John and Julia (Washko) Urichko.
She married Richard Lenhausen on September 5, 1946 at St. Stephen’s Church. He passed away April 26, 2001.
Louise is surviving by daughters, Suzanne Ishee and Peggy Fleming both of Streator, sons, Jerry Lenhausen of Leeburg, FL and Dale (Shelly) Lenhausen of Salisbury, NC, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Ainsley, 2 grandsons, Randy Lenhausen and Billy Cusac, 3 son-in-laws, James Fleming, Scott Anisley and Carl Ishee, 1 brother George Urichko, and 3 sisters Margaret Leskanich, Josephine Ator and Mary Senko.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
She owned and operated R&L Express trucking with her Husband Dick for 31 years. After retiring she enjoyed spending time at home with her family entertaining and relaxing by the pool. She will be dearly missed.
