Passed away Thursday (Jul. 30th) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Streator
A Visitation will be Sunday (Aug. 2) from 3-6PM
at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with the rosary recited at 3PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday (Aug. 3) at St. Anthony Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons, Joseph, William, and Jordan Adams, Grandson-in-laws, Terry Prude, Adam Kays, and Blair Hawn, Honorary, Dawn Prude, Drew Kays, Dana Adams, Kelly and Allison Adams.
Born, April 14, 1922 in Opal, SD to Carl and Jennie (Lovejoy) Schleuning.
She married Ralph Jones on October 1, 1941. He passed away November 20, 1944. She then married Elmer Adams on November 8, 1950. He passed away September 20, 1986.
Surviving are Daughter, Marjorie L. Jones, Streator, Sons, Dale (Deb) Adams, Dwight, Larry (Laura Dawson) Adams, Chicago, Donald (Joan) Adams, Normal, Bill (Lora) Adams, Leroy, IL, Brother, Clifford Schleuning, Rapid City, S. Dakota, 8 Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Daughter, Maxine Wargo, Son, Thomas Adams, Granddaughter, Katie Lynn Adams, 4 Brothers, Ernest, Carl, Fritz, and Benjamin, and Step-Father, Carl Hanson.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, St. Anthony's Mothers Club and Altar and Rosary Society, Owen's Auxillary, and Streator Women's Bowling League.
