Steven W. Zeilman, 60, of Varna passed away Saturday (Oct. 24th).

A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 7PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Fulkerson officiating. Flag folding ceremonies conducted by the Streator VFW post #1492 and the Streator American Legion Post #217. Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews, Mark, Paul, James, Matthew, Lucas, Jeremy, Nicholas Zeilman, Jacob Berta, Joshua Pillash, and Matthew McGrath.

Born, January 12, 1949, Cleburne, TX. to Robert and Frances (Byrd) Zeilman. Surviving are his father, of Varna, Terry (Barbara) Zeilman of Henderson, NV, Daniel (Lin) Zeilman of Palestine, TX, Kathryn (Mark) Pillash of Piedmont, AL., William (Karen) Zeilman of Long Point, Michael (Cindy) Zeilman of Springfield, Karen (David) Berta of Varna, several nieces and nephews who were very special in his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, brother Joel Glen Zeilman, Sr., a niece, Janet Lee, a nephew, Joel Glen Zeilman, Jr., and great-nephew.

He served in Vietnam in the Army from 1968-1970. He graduated from Woodland High School in 1967. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Long Point Fire Department.
