Mabel E. Dietman

Mabel E. Dietman, 104 formerly of Streator passed away Thursday (May 19, 2022) at the Aperion Care, Marseilles.

Private family services will be held with burial in the Grand Rapids Cemetery, Grand Ridge.

Mabel was born on December 7, 1917, in Grand Ridge to Cora Beck.  She married Frank Dietman on June 17, 1937.  He preceded her in death on September 17, 2003.

Surviving is son Jim Dietman of Streator, daughter-in-law Susan, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mabel is preceded in death by her husband Frank and a son Richard.

She owned and operated Dietman’s Western Store and Dietman’s Paint Store.  Mabel loved traveling with Frank before having children.  She loved to garden, caring for her animals and playing bridge.
