Margaret I Quinney

Margaret I. Quinney, 93 of the Courtyard Estates, Bradford and formerly of Streator passed away Sunday evening (June 2, 2019) at her home.

Per her request cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Margaret was born on September 5, 1925 in La Fayette, IL to Archie and Hazel (Wilkinson) Todd.  She married Everett Quinney on November 16, 1956 in Aurora.  He survives.

Also surviving is son James (Kathy) Cable of Galva, grandchildren, Julie (Tim) Hicks of Toulon, James (Christy) Cable of Kewanee and Todd (Amy) Hagerty of Dahinda, great-grandchildren Thorin and Grace Hicks, Alyssa and Emma Cable, Allison, Mathew and Ryan Hagerty, sisters-in-law, Virginia Young of Galva and Henrietta Todd of Galva.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Willis, Emery and Warfield Todd.

Margaret attended the La Fayette Grade School, was a member of the First United Methodist Church and retired from Streator National Bank.
