Marianne Divora

Marianne Divora, 60, of Wenona passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Marianne, known to family and friends as Pook or Pookie, was born July 25, 1957 to Edwin and Lucille Rowatt of Streator.  She married Alan Divora on April, 11 1980 in Streator.

Marianne is survived by her mother,Lucille Rowatt of Streator; husband, Alan Divora of Wenona; children, Colleen (Nicholas) Campagnolo of Bartlett and Adam Divora of Chicago; siblings, Joanne (Thomas) Naughton of Grand Ridge and Richard (Kathy) Rowatt of Normal; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Rowatt, father-in-law, Paul Divora and mother-in-law, Frances Divora.

A private funeral mass was held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Toluca on Monday, February 5, 2018 followed by a private celebration lunch at Boardwalk Tap in Wenona on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Marianne always had a smile on her face, saw the positive side of all situations and welcomed everyone into both her home and her heart.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends and traveling with her family.  She excelled in cooking and baking and was very well known for making delicious cakes.  Marianne dedicated her life to her family, was a rock star wife and mother and is greatly missed by many.  Memorials can be directed to a cancer organization of your choice.
