Maricela Albarran

Maricela Albarran, 55 of Streator passed away peacefully on Monday (October 2, 2023) at her home.

A visitation will be held Friday 10AM until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at noon at the funeral home with burial following in Phillips Cemetery.

Maricela was born on October 22, 1967, in Las Latas, Mexico to Zocimo Benitez and Cleotilde Castelan.  She married Martin Albarran on September 4, 1993.  He survives.

Also surviving are sons, Oscar and Alan Albarran both of Streator, her mother, siblings, Imelda, Sara, Bertin Benitez, Silvia Okrie and Jorge Benitez.

She is preceded in death by her father, sisters, Maria Liliana and Alejandra Benitez.

Maricela was educated in Mexico and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
