Marie Shoemaker

Marie Shoemaker, 88 of Streator passed away Friday evening (January 5^th) at Heritage Health and Rehabilitation Care Center.

Following cremation a visitation will be held Tuesday (Jan. 16^th) from 1 – 3 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 3 PM at the funeral home.

Marie was born on October 23, 1929 in Jasper County to Joseph and Agnes (Bickers) Shoemaker.

Surviving are sisters Louise Sullivan of Streator and Dorabelle Williams of St. Joseph, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by brothers Dale, James and Bob.

Marie attended grade school in Jasper County and attended St. Michael the Archangel Church.  She retired from working in several Streator Restaurants and being a child care provider for many years.

Memorials may be made in her name to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
