Marie Zurlinden

Marie Zurlinden, 93 formerly of Manville passed away Saturday morning (Sept. 14th) at Good Samaritan Home in Flanagan.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 – 11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Brad Hoskins, Robert Flahaut, Shane Flahaut, Todd Connor, John Paul Connor, Anna –Marie Zurlinden.
Marie was born on September 12, 1920 in Marion County, IL to James Amos and Fannie (Bryan) Richards.  She married Harvey Hoskins in 1935 and he passed away in 1945, she later married Richard Zurlinden on June 5, 1947 and he survives.
Also surviving are children; James (Karen) Hoskins of Streator, Joyce (Mike) Flahaut of Rantoul, Richard (Linda) Zurlinden of Streator and Darlene (John) Connor of Iowa, 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, brothers Ernest Richards of Streator , Donald Richards of Linden, sisters; Jeanette Willis of Linden and Ruth Richards of Forreston and several nieces and nephews.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Harvey, son; Harold Hoskins.
She was member of the Streator Church of the Nazarene and a volunteer with the Livingston County Show Bus for many years.
