Marsha J. Pence

Marsha Joann Pence, 83 of Streator passed away on Wednesday (December 6, 2023) surrounded by her family. Marsha was born on May 14, 1940, in Streator to Eugene and Dorothy (Wolff) Missel. She attended Woodland High School and was a member of the Central Church of Christ.  On November 19, 1956, she married Norman Pence in Morris, IL. Marsha worked at Owens Illinois Glass Company for many years. Upon retirement, she and Norman moved to Fanning Springs, FL. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, and embroidery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman (November 13, 2006), sons Darryl and Jeff Pence, and brothers Fred, Robert, and Kevin Missel.

Marsha is survived by her son Bryan (Patricia) Pence of Streator, daughter Dawn (Jim) Janousek of Duluth, MN. Grandchildren David (Sally) Pence, Kristen (Michael) Tallent, Gabrielle (Troy) Thompson, and Marlee (Chris) Harford. Great grandchildren Harmony, Paisley, and Bruce Pence, Harper and Jack Thompson, and Cash, Skylar, and Jett Harford. Her brother Kenneth (Evelyn) Missel. Marsha will be remembered for her love for her family and friends.

Private family services will be held at Winterrowd Funeral Home.
