Martha"Jean" Greider, 79 of Streator passed away Wednesday morning (May 18th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be sons, Robert and Richard, daughters, Cathy and Susan, grandsons, Ryan Taylor, Matthew Greider and Rob Abbott, and family friend Kent Eutsey.
Jean was born on October 10, 1931 in Streator, IL to Paul and Margery (Grooms) Bradish.
She married Robert D. Greider on September 18, 1954. He passed away February 16, 2005.
Surviving are children, Cathleen Lynn (Larry) Taylor, Robert Paul Greider, Susan Kay (Kent Eutsey) Fornero, and Richard Alan Greider all of Streator, 6 grandchildren, Jill (Rob) Abbott, Ryan (Kristin) Taylor, Nicole (Jason Bryner) Fornero, Matthew, Adam and Chelsey Greider, 6 great-grandchildren, Alexis Fornero, Alycia and Emily Bryner, Elizabeth and Joshua Abbott, and Jack Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Marie Spicer.
Jean attended Kangley grade school and graduated Streator High School in 1949.
She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Streator.
Jean was formerly employed at Owens Illinois Glass, Lipton Tea, House of Lloyd, sold Amway, and she babysat for many years.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Foundation.
