Mary M. (Conrad) Davis, 92 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (Feb. 9th) at Heritage Health and Senior Care.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 – 11AM at the Winterowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be John and Mark Thompson, John and Christopher Barberis, Derek Lowkewicz.
Mary was born on July 14, 1920 in Livingston County to Della and Annetta (Johnson) Conrad. She married Milford H. Davis on June 8, 1937 in Joliet; he passed away on December 18, 2009.
Surviving is daughter, Carol (John) Thompson of Warrenville, son, Gregg L. Davis of Streator, nephew whom she raised Harold M. (Jackie) Conrad of Sugar Grove, 2 grandchildren, Paula (Thompson) Hlava of Aurora, Mark (Sarah) Thompson of Aurora, 5 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter Jamie (Thompson) Barberis, sisters, Merle (Russell) Crawford, Frances (Carl) Meyer, brothers, Theodore Allison and Delbert Conrad.
She attended Long Point Grade school and high school. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mary and Milford resided most of their marriage farming in Blackstone before retiring to live in Streator.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
