Mary H. Johnston, 84 of Streator passed away Friday (Oct. 23rd) at Heritage Manor, Streator

A private family service will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with burial in the St. Anthony Cemetery.

Born August 12, 1925 in Sparland, IL to George and Clara (Glatz) Damm. She married Arthur Johnston on March 19, 1948 he passed away December 20, 1991.

Surviving are Patrick Johnston of Selena, Kansas, Kathryn (Donald) Holmes of Grand Rapids, MN, Arthur (Joan) Johnston Jr. of Streator, 7 grandchildre, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Charles (Evelyn) Damm of Henry, Robert (Mary) Damm of Peoria, sisters, Norma Damm of Leonore, Rosemary Damm of Lacon, Margaret (John) Murphy of Peoria.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter in infancy, grandson Eric Holmes, brother, Leonard.

She retired from Owens' Illinois Glass in 1987.
