Mary Lou Lanning, 78 of McNabb and formerly of Streator passed away Monday morning (Jan. 16th) at her home.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9-10:30AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Lanning, Daniel Lanning, Jr., David Lanning, Jr., Jessica Bruce, and Sandra Dawson. Pallbearers will be Robert and Mike Martin, Jim Epley, Jerry Lanning and Jerry, Jr. Lanning, and Russ Lanning.
Mary Lou was born on November 21, 1933 in Hennepin to Clarence and Iris Isabell (Riggen) Epley.
She married Donald Lanning on December 4, 1954. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, Daniel (Joyce) Lanning, Sr. and David (Judy) Lanning, Sr. both of Streator, 5 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, brother, Richard (Harriet) Epley of Spring Valley, sister, Isabell Anderson of Lacon, and sister-in-law, Joyce Epley of Granville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Darline in infancy, brothers, James, Bob, and Johnny Epley, and sisters, Evelyn and Normay Martin.
Mary Lou attended Galva High School and was a member of the Senior Center in Standard, IL. She was affiliated with the Faith Assembly of God Church in Peru.
Memorials may be directed to Faith Assembly of God Church in Peru and Illinois Valley Hospice of Peru.
