Mary "Boots" A. Reynolds, 81 of Streator passed away Tuesday evening (Nov. 29th) at Heritage Health, Streator.
A visitation will be held Friday from 4 - 8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her son and grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
Mary was born on February 2, 1930 in Streator to Joseph and Harriet (Hoit) Horton. She married Harlynd Reynolds on September 5, 1948 he passed away on June 16, 1983.
Surviving are children Mary Louise (Ron) Ruberstell of Streator, Bonnie (Timothy) Nolan of Santa Maria, CA, Debbie Heilman of Pontiac, Donna Janney of Kangley, Aloma (David) McCoy of Streator, Theresa (John) Bennett of Chatsworth and James Joseph (Deena) Reynolds of Streator, 30 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, brother John Horton of Butte, MT, sisters, Edna Mae Richards of Streator, Thelma Gouliard of Pekin and several nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Jerry, John Henry and Kenneth Romell Reynolds, 1 grandson Scott Alan, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Ellen Houchin and Lyla Whitney, brothers Arthur, Donald, Walter, George, James, Ralph and Robert Horton.
She attended Streator Grade Schools, a member of the Central Church of Christ and was a collector of dolls and crafts.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
