Michael C. Hamann, 53 of Streator passed away Sunday morning (September 6th) at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at the St. Mary’s cemetery, Streator.
Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Michael was born on August 19, 1962 in Streator to Kenneth and Ellen (Sphar) Hamann.
Surviving is his mother Ellen Redd of Streator, brothers, Ken (Charlene) Hamann of Streator, Larry Hamann of New Hampshire, sister, Melanie Ainsley of Kangley, uncle, Bob (Shirley) Sphar of Streator, aunt, Helen (Herb) Holz of Ancona , step-mother Barb Hamann of Kangley, care giver Donna Roseboom of Streator , longtime friend Kathy Hays and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ellen and Robert Sphar, his father and step-father Frank Redd.
Mike attended grade school in Streator and Texas; he graduated from the Livingston High School in Livingston, Texas. He did drywalling for many years.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
