Minnie M. Martin

Minnie M. Martin, 89 of California and formally of Streator passed away Monday (February 25, 2013) at the Mountain View Convalescent Home in Sylmar, CA.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family members.
Minnie was born on November 12, 1923 in Oglesby, IL to Frank and Christine “Tina” (Morton) Gaull.
She married William W. Martin on January 15, 1946.  He passed away June 7, 2000.
Surviving are children, Donald (Beverly) Martin of Streator, Karen Bentz of Claremore, OK, Christine (Antonio) Olea of Newhall, CA, and William (Tonya) Martin of Belton, SC, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Othmar Salz, sisters-in-law, Helen Salz, Artell Kobusch, and Patricia and Betty Gaull.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Herbert in infancy, Frank and Charles Gaull, and 5 sisters, Esther, Annie, and Margaret Gaull in infancy, and Christine Sampo and Evelyn Gerace, son-in-law, Harry Bentz.
Minnie retired from Thatcher Glass.  She was a former P.N.A. member.
Minnie loved gardening, cooking, crocheting and embroidering.
