Nancy Ann Blakemore

Nancy A. Blakemore, 83 (nee Radatz), passed from this life to her eternal home the evening of February 11, 2020 at Heritage Health, Streator surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be at the New Beginnings Baptist Church on Sunday, February 16^th from 2 – 4 PM with a memorial service to immediately follow at 4 pm.  Interment will take place at a later date.

Nancy was born on December 4, 1936 in Chicago.  She was the daughter of Edward and Adeliene (Mac Donald) Radatz.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Wayne I. Blakemore and her three sons; Michael (Jean) Blakemore, Mark (Tracy) Blakemore and Brett Blakemore.  Also surviving are grandchildren; Ruth (Jeff) Neiggemann, Anna (Dan Cave) Blakemore, Aaron (Holly Cashmer) Blakemore, Madison, Taylor, Bo and Jack Blakemore, and a great-granddaughter Rowyn Cave.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Edward A. Radatz.

Nancy attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator Township High School.  Through her early adult years she worked a Krogers, Metropolition Life Insurance, and retired from First Midwest Bank in 2000.

Nancy adored her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.  She was a charter member of chat and chew club.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the loving, compassionate, staff at Heritage Health.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to:  Heritage Health, New Beginnings Baptist Church, Wolf Creek Cemetery or a charity of the donors choice.
