Nancy L. Danko

Nancy L. Danko, 67 of Streator passed away Tuesday afternoon (June 6, 2023) at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 – 4 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Nancy was born on March 13, 1956, in Charleston, W. Virginia to Earl and Eloise (Paxton) Pickering.  She married Daniel Danko on May 11, 2002.  He preceded her in death on November 9, 2013.

Surviving is her daughter Amy Burns Hogan of Streator, son Chad Burns and her grandson Garrett Hogan (whom she loved dearly) all of Streator, stepchildren, Rodger Burns Jr of Wenona and Bradley Burns of Toluca, brother Charles (Mary) Pickering of Streator and sister Joyce Pickering of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Daniel, sister Betty Musolff and a nephew Robert Lee Gray.

Nancy attended grade school in W. Virginia and attended Streator High School.

She retired from the Streator Walmart.
