Nancy Marie Palaschak

Nancy Marie Palaschak, 67 of Streator passed way Saturday morning (October 15, 2022) at her home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday from 2 – 4 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held at 4PM at the funeral home.

Nancy was born on May 28, 1955, in Streator to Ruford C. and Mary (Matsko) McClain.  She married Michael Palaschak on February 13, 1982.  He survives.

Also surviving is, daughter Jamie Lynn Palaschak of Streator, her grandcats, Willow and Lucy, beloved dog Mya and beloved cat Whisper, cousins Gerald “Bo” and Mary Matsko of Streator, Charesse (Kent) Richards of Streator and Mary Ann Chismarick of Streator.

She is preceded in death by her parents, In laws Edward and Pat Palaschak, her dogs Teddy and Buddy, cats, Clawed, Phoebe and Danny L.

Nancy graduated from Streator High School in 1973 and attended IVCC.  She was formerly employed at Heritage Manor as a nurse’s aide, she also cleaned homes, she lastly worked as a food server for Centennial grade school and Northlawn Jr High School.  She was active with the P.T.O. as a room mother and helping with bake sales.  Nancy was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be made in her name to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Pet Project.
