Ole C. McDermaid

Ole C. McDermaid, 46 of Streator, passed away Saturday evening (Jan. 2nd) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 - 7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with funeral services at 7PM. Following services, cremation rites will be held and interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Ole was born, September 10, 1963 in Streator, IL to Donald and Mary Lou (Larson) McDermaid.

Surviving are, son, Michael McDermaid of Urbana, Parents of Streator, sisters, Barbara Martin, Donalda Mauk, Heneritta Carnduff of Streator and Thressia Janke of Dana, and several nieces and nephews.

He attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1982 and briefly attended IVCC. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing softball and darts, and following U of I athletics and was employed at McKernan Packaging in Streator.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his son's educational fund.
