Pauline M. (Melrose) Henert

Pauline M. Henert, 71 of Streator passed away Sunday (January 9, 2022) at Ottawa Pavilion, Ottawa.

Following cremation, a celebration life service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pauline was born on April 5, 1950, in Streator to Dean and Maxine (Schmitz) Melrose. She married Dennis G. Henert on April 14, 1973. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2019.
Surviving are sons, Randall (Kim) Henert and Roland “Bugs” Henert both of Streator and a daughter, Shelly Hoisington of Sandwich, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sisters, Carla (Charlie) Klein of Ancona and Jill Melrose of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dennis.
Pauline graduated from Streator High School in 1969. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed writing poems and spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
