Phyllis M. Kraushaar, 88 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (Oct. 27th) at St. Mary's Hospital.
A visitation will be held Monday from 6 - 8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10AM at the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Haley officiating. Burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery rural Wenona.
Phyllis was born on July 2, 1923 in Streator to Virgil and Phoebe (Crone) Mann. She married John H. Kraushaar on December 11, 1943 he passed away on October 25, 1990.
Surviving are sons Karl Dwayne Kraushaar of Streator, Terry (Carol) Kraushaar of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Darla Schmitt of Streator and step-son John (Carolyn) Kraushaar of Washington, PA, granddaughter Kalia Kraushaar, sister Mary Lou (Donald) Smith of Wenona, brothers Eugene (Gladys) Mann of Lostant, John (Dorothy) Mann of Wenona, sister-in-law Shirley Mann of Wenona and several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Delores Delheimer and brothers Roger and Virgil Mann.
She was formerly employed at Owens' Illinois Glass, Walter Seed, and Streator Canning Factory. Member of the Magnolia Alumni and First United Methodist Church in Streator. Phyllis attended Alfred Judd Grade School and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1940.
