Ralph H. Schaumberg

   Ralph H. Schaumberg, 72, of Streator passed away Tuesday evening at his home.
   A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
   Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11AM at the funeral home.
   Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Streator VFW post#1492 and the Streator American Legion post#217.
   Pallbearers will be Bo Bozanovs, Chuck Dudak, Ron Ross, and Larry Walter, Don Cinnamon, Bernard Jenkins.
   He was born July 19, 1940 in Eureka, IL to Robert and Mamie (Estes) Schaumberg.
   He married Patricia Caldarone on Nov. 11 1960. She passed away on August 14, 1998.
   Surviving are sisters, Roberta (Ivars) Bozanovs of Oglesby, and Rose Mary Schaumberg of Streator, nephews, David and Robert Goldsmith, and Michael Caldarone, and nieces, Emily, Hannah, Jessica and Jennifer Schaumberg.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son, Robert Schaumberg.
   Ralph attended Streator High School and served in the Navy. He retired from UPS in Providence RI. He was a member of the Streator Bowling Leagues.
