Reynaldo T. Mascote

Reynaldo T. Mascote, 69 of Streator passed away Wednesday (October 23, 2024) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 noon until 2p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2p.m. with cremation rites following services.

Reynaldo was born on May 4, 1955, in Cuamio Michoacau, Mexico to Reyes and Cirila (Torres) Mascote. He married Cindy Cox on December 2, 1977. She survives.

Also surviving are daughters Amy Cox of Streator, Jennifer (James) Duncan of Streator, sons Reynaldo and Robert Mascote of Streator, 7 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren, and 1 great grand dog, siblings Gregoria, Gloria, Santiago, Victorina, Guadalupe, Jose, Ana Maria and Esperanza Mascote.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jorge.

Reynaldo attended school in Mexico and was retired from LSC Communications in Dwight.

Reynaldo beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather, passed away surrounded by love. He found joy in simple pleasures, whether enjoying breakfast at Cozy Corner, slot gaming, tending to his garden or leisurely walks. Reynaldo cherished his time with his family, creating lasting memories that will be held dear. Reynaldo is the epitome of generosity, always ready to give the shirt off his back to help others. His infectious smile would light up any room, instantly bringing joy and warmth to those around him. Reynaldo will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
