Richard G. Tucker

Richard G. Tucker, 78, of Streator passed away Thursday (August 29th) at the Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1PM in Riverview Cemetery.
Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Richard was born on October 25, 1934 in Streator, Illinois to Gordon and Gwendolyn (Shaw) Tucker.
Surviving is son Michael (Karen) Tucker of Cameron Park, CA, daughter, Patricia Tucker of Bloomington, 4 grandchildren, Paige Thomas of Bloomington,  Joshua, Audra, and Hannah Tucker of Cameron Park, CA, and brother, William Tucker of Taylorville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Robert Tucker.
Richard attended Streator schools and was a Journeyman Electrician with Local 197 in Bloomington.  He served as past Commander of the American Legion Post #217 and was a member of the Veterans Plaza Committee in Streator.  
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1960.
