Riley Kolesar

Riley J. Kolesar, 21 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (August 1, 2024) from injuries received in a automobile accident.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with cremation rites following services. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.

Riley was born on April 30, 2003, in Streator.

He is survived by his father and mother Jeremy and Jessi Plichta Kolesar of Streator, his biological mother Natalie (Jose) Villalobos of Streator, siblings Jerzy and Blaze Kolesar, Chris “Jr” McMullen all of Streator, Kiersten and Chuck Clark of Missouri, grandparents, Julie and Don Neels of Streator, Rick Kolesar of Streator, Jeff and Lori Plichta of Streator, Jackie Bliss of Streator, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Riley is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale Noble, Margaret Denyes and Chaz Bliss.

Riley attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 2021. He was employed at Vactor Mfg. and JD Gutters and had previously traveled for the railroad. Riley was a hard worker, loved playing video games, 4 wheeling and working on his truck.
