Robb J. Hawthorne, 56 of Streator passed away Sunday afternoon (June 24th) in an automobile accident.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM and also on Friday from 9:30AM until time of service at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:30AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Stasko, Robert Turner, Sr., Ben Munson, and grandsons, Austin Hawthorne, Taylor West, and Christopher Heinz.
Robb was born on October 13, 1955 in Ottawa, IL to Charles and Lois (Ingham) Hawthorne.
Robb married Deborah Stasko on August 4, 1972. She survives.
Also surviving is daughter Kimberly (Troy) Heinz of Hanover Park, and son, Robb (Stephanie) Hawthorne, II of Streator, 4 grandchildren, Christopher Heinz, Austin and Alexis Hawthorne, and Taylor West, mother, Lois Hawthorne of Streator, brothers, Rex (Kathy) Hawthorne of Streator, and Mark (Pat) Hawthorne of Janesville, WI, sister, Sandee (Keith) Jamour of Overland Park, KS, and mother-in-law, Ruby Stasko of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He graduated Streator High School in 1973 and The Police Academy in Champaign in Sept. 1988.
Robb worked for Knoedlers Manufacturing in Streator for 13 years before entering the Police Academy.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Robb Hawthorne.
