Robert W. Hoskins

Robert W. Hoskins, 82 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (June 11^th) at the LaSalle Veterans Home, LaSalle.

Per Roberts wishes there will be no services.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Bob was born on September 23, 1933 in Streator to Lloyd and Eunice (Johnston) Hoskins.  He married Donna Benner on August 1, 1955.  She proceeded hi m in death August 9, 2015.

Surviving are, son Greg (Linda) Hoskins of Mascoutah, grandchildren, Emily (Cody) Campbell of Nashville, IL, Scott Hoskins of Belleville, IL, and Mark Hoskins Altamont, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons Scott and Jeff and brother, Donald and Eugene.

Bob attended the Greely Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1952.  He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  Bob retired from the Northern Illinois Water Co and was a member of Streator American Legion, Streator Eagles Club, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Ramp Builders of the church.  He enjoyed going fishing and making pictures.
